I see parenting distinct from procreation. I dont think that just because one has the faculty to procreate, means one must. It must be a choice based on self evaluation. The question of whether or not one possesses the skill for parenting, is not addressed enough; it is easily taken for granted. The responsibility of creating and nurturing a human life is huge - because you as the smallest unit you are creating a member of society, human race. And that requires skill and patience. I dont think I have what it takes to be a parent. But my body can procreate.
