About the intended parents

I'm 36, 5"7, 115 lbs. & am originally from Montreal. My father is of Norwegian descent & my mother is of Scottish descent. I have a younger brother who is the father of an amazing little 4 year old my nephew Owen. I spent my early 20's travelling throughout Europe & South East Asia before returning to Montreal to attend Concordia University. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature & went on to settle down in Ottawa with Scott, my partner of 3 years.

What they are looking for

My partner & I had been trying for a baby for nearly 6 months & although I had missed several periods, the tests all came back negative. My family doctor referred me to Dr. Kotarba at the Ottawa Fertility Clinic where I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure at age 35. Devastated is not a strong enough word to describe how my partner & I both felt & continue to feel.

To My Future Donor, First of all, let me say that it takes an amazing person to do what you've decided to do. Giving someone the opportunity to have a child is such a generous, selfless act & brings with it so much happiness!
