About the intended parents

I am a lawyer and professor of law. I enjoy working out, writing, cooking, hiking and travel. I attend the Anglican Church weekly. I spend virtually all of the major holidays with my Mother and sister in Ottawa Christmas, Easter, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving and try to get to see my brother, sister-in-law and their children, my twin nieces, now 9 years old, who live in New Orleans, Louisiana, at least once a year.

What they are looking for

I am a single gay man. It has always been my dream to have children. Five years ago, at the age of 46, I realized I was gay. I'd never been married or had a family. Friends said to wait a little to see if there was someone special I could meet to have a family with as a couple. 'Mr. Right' has not yet appeared. I have dated a number of men, but found very few who are interested in fathering or parenting. Given my age, I had to make the decision this past summer i.e. 2015 to move forward alone. It is a decision I am comfortable with. I look forward to the journey of fatherhood immensely.

Personal message

I cannot say how much an offer of surrogacy would mean to me - more than can be expressed. I would like to be as supportive and attentive as I can as we go through this amazing process together. I would like to have a positive relationship with you so that I could introduce you to my children as their birth mother when they get older. Over time I hope to have more than one child, so a positive relationship is very important.
