About the intended parents

We are a stable common law Canadian couple -- together for more than 9 years and our lives are as if we're married. We have long wanted to have children together and nurture them as they grow up. We spent our young adulthood in Toronto, and have settled down together in Ottawa, Ontario.... We both work full time. Dawn manages projects for business improvement. Chris works in shipping & receiving.... Some of the things we like to do include being outdoors -- short hikes, car camping, etc. Dawn also likes to dabble around in the garden. Chris also likes to do occasional car/phone/home improvements.... We believe in good morals and open communication. Dawn is friendly, organized, and a woman of integrity. Chris is laid back, fair, and a man of common sense.

My partner and I want to have kids and grow our family. Unfortunately, I was born with an underdeveloped uterus, and can never become pregnant myself. I found this out in my late teens, after seeing the doctor because my period had not arrived.
