Dear potential surrogate, Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We hope that this self-introduction will help you understand who we are and why we need your help. My name is Lei Liu, and my husband is Rui Xia. I am 40 years old, and he is 44. We met in 2005, we get married in 2007, and we have happily lived together ever since. We love kids. We already have two daughters one 10 years old, and the other 3. We tried but failed to have another child. I had an abortion, which resulted in postpartum diabetes. My obstetrician advised me not to have another child in the future. However, my physical condition has not stop us from thinking of having one or two more kids. We even attempted artificial insemination in March 2020. Unfortunately it did not work out for us. But we will continue our efforts to have more another child. And that is why we are seeking help from you. We live in Vancouver, Canada. Our residence is located in a quiet neighborhood, with numerous parks in the surrounding areas. I am a fulltime housewife, while my husband works in the field of telecommunication. We are both well educated, and we are doing well financially. We like reading, cooking, travelling, and photography. I am optimistic, I enjoy socializing myself with friends, I am passionate about life, and I adore children. My husband is an introverted person, but he is a kind and gentle, and he loves spending time with family. We love each other very much, and we love our children very much. I believe that our family can provide a stable and nurturing environment for our children, including our future child. We have discussed with our two daughters about our decision to have one more child or two. They support our decision, and they can’t wait to have a younger brother or sister. We have been raising two wonderful daughters together. We can certainly raise one or two more kids. We are financially, physically, and mentally ready for having one or more kids. Once your role as the surrogate is identified, we would like to, under your consent of course, develop a close relationship with you, and to keep in touch with you via the internet or the phone on a regular basis before and after the child is born.
