About the intended parents

I am a happy mom of one for now, with a wonderful daughter and fantastic husband. I have a lot going on in my life but I look forward to slowing down and focusing on homeschooling my daughter for kindergarten come this fall. People would say I am a polite, kind woman who enjoys helping others.

What they are looking for

We were blessed to have our daughter 4 years ago and were looking forward to giving her many more siblings and growing our family. However, due to a car accident I have been through a lot of pain issues and on medication for numerous issues related to the accident. For a few years we kept hoping things would heal and I would be able to get off the medication but that has not happened. The medication I am on are not good for pregnancy and we have decided as a family to not risk putting a baby in my body's hostile environment. We have talked to our family, friends and anyone we could about surrogacy and were unable to find someone to help. We are so thankful for the much more open world of surrogacy.

Personal message

I had actually thought about becoming a surrogate for my cousin before my accident, so I know it takes a special person to look into doing surrogacy. Especially for someone that you do not know. To be willing to give of yourself in this way is something that is so precious to those receiving it that there are no words that would ever be able to come close to explaining how much you are giving to a mom, a dad, a sister, grandparents and more...you are giving a gift that is so precious to so many people and changing a whole family for the better that thank you just doesn't seem to be the right words to say. Even so, thank you, thank you for being who you are and even considering giving such a gift to those of us who can't have a child or grow our family.
