About the intended parents
I am finally and emotionally secure. We both work in recruitment for the European Market. My partner and I have been together for nearly 2 years now, and would love nothing more than to complete our family unit and become parents. My partner and I come from large families who are all very close, so the child will be brought up with loads of family interaction! My partner and I both work in stable jobs, and like to find interesting things to do on weekends. Going for walks, visiting the beach, or visiting our little nephew and families are some of the activities we like to do. But what we would like to do most now is to become parents! We are both in our 30's and feel that we are at the right stage to welcome a baby into our lives.
What they are looking for
From the age of 18, I was told by my surgeon in South Africa that there would never be any chance of me falling pregnant due to the overwhelming interlinked problems I have had with my reproductive system. I have had 17 major surgeries to just be able to "function normally" as they put it. As a result and through the years, I have moved to Ireland and have had a few more consultations with various doctors in Ireland and in the UK, all to be told the same thing. I should have had a hysterectomy at age 18. I am back to full health now, but the result remained that I am still unable to carry a child. I have always wanted to have a baby of my own and to raise a family, so being lucky enough to have the option of surrogacy is a dream come true for us both.
