About the intended parents

We are an artsy/creative/intellectual couple. I have a Ph.D. and teach in the teacher education program at the local university. My husband is a musician and music teacher, and has his own teaching business. He is Mexican, I am from California, and we love to travel. We'd love to meet you and see if this is something we all could work on together. It's been a hard process, deciding to go with a surrogate, but we really want to be parents and are hoping to meet the right person.

What they are looking for

We are a young couple, and just before we were about to start trying for a baby I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I went through treatment, and have gotten the all-clear, but we still want kids, very badly! Because my cancer was estrogen-positive, it would be risky for me to have a pregnancy. Luckily, we made embryos before I started treatment, and so we are excited to use those. We are looking for someone who is interested in altruistic surrogacy and who wants to help us start a family.

Well, hello, potential surrogate mother. Thanks for taking the time to read this. We are hoping to meet a surrogate mother who can help us start a family. We live in Vancouver, BC, and hope you live sort of close. This has been a very emotional process, and we want to meet someone with an open heart and hopeful intentions.
