I am 31, of average build and good health. I trained to be a primary school teacher, but decided it wasn't for me, so retrained as a midwife. I have a passion for learning and read constantly. I am a very driven and ambitious person. I'm a positive person and believe a day is only as good as you make it. I love nature and walking. I am confident and chatty and love social events.

Why Ellie W****** is here

I had a very strong desire to be a mum from a very young age. I worked hard, got a career in midwifery, bought a house, but still had not met Mr Right. So after years of consideration and support from my family, I used a donor and filled that longing to be a mother. I can say without a doubt, it's the best decision I have ever made. So if I can bring that join to others, then I would love to. Please be aware I am only looking to be a gestational surrogate.

Personal letter

To the future parents, I know the decision to look for a surrogate must be a very difficult decision and a process not to be rushed. Ask any questions you need of me and I hope we can make a strong connection that moves you closer to fulfilling your desire to be parents. I haven't got any set ideas of what or any involvement I would have. I feel this is a decision that should be mainly yours to make and for us to discuss when appropriate.
