As a single parent to Ellie and Jack, my world revolves around my children. After experiencing the deep pain of a miscarriage, I want to become a surrogate to help others feel the joy of parenthood. I’m about to start studying Human Biology and English Literature, with plans to teach in the future. I enjoy quiet family life, taking walks, cooking, and even fencing when I can. I am a single parent, my children (Ellie, 2 and a half) and Jack (8 months) mean the world to me... I am due to start university in September, studying Human Biology and English Literature, after which I wish to do a PGCE to teach at a Primary School. I enjoy a quiet life centering round my children and church. I enjoy taking my children on walks, cooking and fencing - when not pregnant ofcourse!

Why Sarah R** is here

I'm 21 years old and have two beautiful children, but miscarried two years ago, and went through all the pain involved... Luckily I already had my daughter, so had no worries that I may not be able to have children. I'll never forget the afternoon after I had my miscarriage – I walked into town as I couldn't face going home to stare at the walls, and it just seemed that everyone else had a baby... Luckily I had my daughter with me, at almost a year of age she was oblivious to my pain, and she just turned round in her buggy and gave me the best hug ever, and I knew that my daughter loved me... That's why I want to become a surrogate, because I have children who love me almost as much as I love them and it's the best feeling in the world, and I want to share that feeling with other people.
